What happens next?
Compliance and Oversight
Your project will be managed by our Designated Individual (DI), supported by the BioServices operations teams. They’ll ensure all activities are planned and delivered in full alignment with regulatory and ethical requirements.
Transport
Your biological materials are collected and transferred using ADR-certified drivers, supported by our in-house Dangerous Goods Safety Advisers (DGSAs) who provide regulatory oversight. We use vehicles with power supply to run freezers on board, to maintain sample integrity during transport. All shipments can be monitored in real time to ensure visibility from start to finish.
Planning and Scheduling
We’ll confirm your project timeline, including temperature requirements, transport routes, and documentation. Every transfer is planned to align with your specific chain-of-custody and compliance needs.
Chain of Custody
Once received, your samples are stored within our secure biorepository, featuring temperature- and power-monitored freezers and rooms with generator backup. Our sample inventory software provides full traceability and audit trails for every sample.
Pre-Transfer Preparation
Where appropriate, our team will prepare detailed risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), conduct validation checks, and provide compliant packaging, labelling, and scheduling tailored to your materials and storage requirements.
Ongoing Support?
We provide continuous sample tracking, temperature monitoring, and custom reporting to meet your project and regulatory requirements. Our team is always available for follow-up collections, returns, or long-term storage extensions.
