Keeping up the pace for Crisis

Julie Gubbay, our Business Development Executive is taking part in a sponsored run in aid of the homeless charity Crisis.

Harrog Green - image of Julie Julie is following in the footsteps of Harrow Green which has been helping Crisis, the homeless charity for some time now. Over the last few years we have helped Crisis with setting up and taking down their temporary shelters at Christmas which provide homeless people with much needed food, shelter, comfort and support. Our staff have also donated food, clothes and many other useful items for homeless people who are in real need of help. Julie will be taking part in the Crisis Square Mile Run on 8 June at 7.00 pm to raise funds for Crisis.

Julie has done charity runs in the past but here’s why she chose Crisis this time:

“I chose Crisis because no one shouldn’t have a home to go to in today’s UK. It’s easy to take a bed and heating for granted. Crisis help the homeless to get on their feet. I volunteered for Crisis a few years ago over Christmas. Homeless people have a struggle and shouldn’t be ignored… everyone has a story. Just having a friendly conversation with someone sleeping rough can change their day or world for the better and those conversations have definitely changed mine.”

Well said Julie!

Please give Julie your support. You can visit her fundraising page here.

Good luck Julie.
