Pharma Industry News

As a laboratory relocation specialist we were overjoyed by recent news by Insider Media Ltd that Investment in the life sciences sector could boost the North East's economy by millions of pounds and create hundreds of jobs, according to the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI). The Research claimed that hitting the government's target of 2.4 % of GDP in the Pharma industry could add £25m to the region's economy.
This news is extremely encouraging, despite fears for the economy following years of uncertainty created by the Brexit referendum.

Further positive news was published in another recent announcement by the ABPI stating that a new £56 million UK innovation centre set to revolutionise how medicines are manufactured, is to be located in Renfrewshire, Scotland, allowing the UK to capture a bigger slice of the global £98 billion small molecule pharma market.
Both these recent developments in the pharma field are welcomed by everyone at Restore Harrow Green and we hope to see more initiatives of this nature emerge in future, in an industry where we’re highly active and frequently contribute to.
