Harrow Green Interiors – specialising in the design, construction and furnishing of office and interior spaces – announced certification of its Environmental Management System to ISO 14001:2004.
To achieve certification the division has had to demonstrate a systematic approach to the identification, control and improvement of its environmental impact. The award follows on from ISO 9001 certification last year.
David Holmes, group quality and compliance manager for the Harrow Green Group, said: “In working towards compliance we have been able to review all our business and operational processes and establish objectives to reduce our environmental impact. It is a further step along a journey we have mapped out for ourselves, a tangible recognition of the hard work of the team at Interiors, and confirmation of our commitment to working responsibly with all our customers.”
Harrow Green’s corporate social responsibility programme is called ‘Wayfinder’ and maps out the journey Harrow Green is taking to improve the impact of all aspects of its business activities. More information can be found here.
