Harrow Green supported Debra Willson who took part in The Bubble Rush fun run this Sunday. Here is what she had to say:
"On Sunday 7 August I took part in a Bubble Rush. For those of you who’ve never heard of a bubble rush it is a run, walk or jog though coloured foam bubbles to raise cash for local charities. I decided to do the 5k course in my local park in Dartford to support Demelza a local hospice for children and I thought it would be something different to do.
I was given a free Bubble Rush t-shirt and other stuff which was great. I started off with the white bubble wall, heading into the wooded area where there were yellow bubble walls, then the pink wall, through green bubbles, blue bubbles and finally the finish line. Foam cannons pump out the coloured frothy foams and the team operating the cannons made sure we were covered in foam, as you can see from my photos. Bubble Rush call it the frothiest race in the world and it certainly is!
It was a fantastic day and I had a lot of fun but at the same time it felt good to be doing something to help children and their families. Anyone can do it, you don’t have to be super fit and you can include children. I’d highly recommend it and if you want to find out more about bubble rushes visit their website here: http://www.bubblerush.co.uk/"
Harrow Green donated £200 to Debra, who raised a total of £350.
Well done Debra from everyone at Harrow Green!
