At Harrow Green we’re currently in the process of moving to a brand new 46,000 square feet dedicated storage facility in West Thurrock. The site is strategically located to provide easy access to central London, and its close proximity to junction 31 of the M25 allows for easy travel both north and south. 

In moving to the new facility we are reinforcing our commitment to both security and the environment, for example the building has advanced security cameras capable of face capture and the highest level of energy classification, including adaptive LED lighting to achieve maximum energy efficiency.

Our storage customers will also benefit from the latest alarm and fire detection technology, as well as 24/7 CCTV capable of recording clearly during day and night, feeding in to a monitoring system and ready to alert security in an instant. 
Another big benefit for storage customers is our advanced inventory management system, which uses bar-coding, digital picture inventories and online access for managing everything in store. Customers have secure remote access to our live web-based management system, allowing them to see a detailed description of each item, and importantly a digital image, making retrieval easy and ensuring the right item is delivered on every request. Thanks to this system, customer goods are tracked and traceable throughout the entire storage, collection, delivery and handling process. With real-time, any-time access to this information, storing goods couldn’t be any easier and our warehouses are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

In moving to our new storage facility we are  transferring huge quantities of items from our previous unit, and this is a truly mammoth task. Fortunately however, we are relocation specialists so there is no better team for the job!

In total we’re moving around 100,000 items at a combined weight of over 2,300 tonnes – that’s equivalent to the weight of 34 fully laden passenger jets!

Modern, secure and well-located, we are delighted with our new facility and from early February we would love to welcome any prospective storage customers the opportunity to visit the unit and see it for yourselves!
