Harrow Green began trading in 1983, offering a London-based commercial moving and storage service. Since then we have expanded our services by responding to the needs of our customers.
One of the most important first steps forward was the creation of the first specialist division to help manage IT moves, which we set up in the 1980s. By solving problems for some major clients, we were able to integrate IT engineering support into our move management services and developed a reputation in the market for responsiveness.
In the 1990s our records management division similarly grew out of the need to manage the multiple storage and access requirements of businesses moving and reorganising. By this time the business of commercial relocation had become part of a much wider programme of solutions for businesses. We have been particularly supportive of the emerging facilities management industry.
Through the 1990s the company continued to expand its services by adding International Relocation. This has enabled us to move anyone anywhere across the world. Our International services also include relocation management, from finding schools to settling in support.
During the last ten years, we have widened our geographical reach. Our branch network covers all major cities and delivers all services. This means we are perfectly placed to look after both our local and national customers' needs.
In 2012, Harrow Green was acquired by Restore Plc., which established the company as the UK market leader in office relocation and the third largest provider of records management services nationwide.
"Harrow Green has always known that customers shape its business. We work with our customers to develop an understanding of their needs and collaborate on finding the right solution. It works for us – and it certainly works for them."
Nigel, Managing Director
