accredited. While our own high standards have always been
reflected
in the service, manpower and resources we supply, official
accreditation recognises our long-standing commitment to quality.
FIDI-FAIMISO: FAIM is an independent
quality assurance programme set up by FIDI (see below) which
is not only dedicated to international moving but exceeds
the requirements of any other quality standard. Harrow
Green holds the highest pass mark available,
FAIMISO, requiring ISO 9001 accreditation and a detailed quality manual.
PFM Partnership Awards: Harrow Green is one of the most successful entrants in the pfm awards' 12-year history, reaching at least the 'finalist' stage every year that we have entered. Most importantly, we are the only company in our service sector to have won five times: in 1997, 1999, 2000 and 2003 for our work, respectively, with NOP, The British Library, the BBC and Telereal and BT, and in 2002, when we won an award for the standards of excellence achieved by the Harrow Green Training Centre.
In 2005, the company was shortlisted for its Green Package and its client partnership with Norwich Union and Procore.
BIFM: Harrow Green is a corporate member of the British Institute of Facilities Management. BIFM is the UK’s lead institute representing the interests of those who practice facilities management and supply FM related goods or services.
The British Association of Removers: Harrow Green is a member of the British Association of Removers. Our commercial arm is also a member of the BAR’s Commercial Moving Group (BAR-CMG), which imposes on its members a specific code of conduct and service standards relating to business relocation.
FIDI: Membership of FIDI, the organisation representing worldwide movers, provides our clients with a global network of strategic partners (agents) bound by a common quality standard. Reg Allen, Harrow Green’s managing director, is FIDI’s treasurer and a member of the FIDI board.
PRISM: Harrow Green’s Records Management division is a member of PRISM International (Professional Records & Information Services Management). PRISM is a not-for-profit trade association for companies that provide their clients with protection, access, retention, storage and disposal of their vital information.
O’Neil Strategic Partner: Harrow Green’s Records Management division uses the O’Neil system to power its RM service. We have been appointed as a Strategic Partner, and are thus part of a global network of around 800 professional records managers. Our Strategic Partner status enables us to work with O'Neil on product development and testing, as well as providing (and receiving) information and advice to (and from) other O'Neil users.
RoSPA: Harrow Green’s membership of RoSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents), which provides information, advice, and training on safe working practices, is an additional commitment to providing our staff and clients with safer, minimum-risk occupational environments.
Achilles: Harrow Green is listed on the Achilles UVDB, a supplier database used by the UK utility industry (including electricity, nuclear power, water, gas and telecom sectors) to share pre-qualification information on suppliers of major products, services and works.
