Storage Consultants
Systems ConsultantsThe engine room of Harrow Green’s modern storage is the database systems and networks that store the information on items and provide nationwide connectivity between facilities. When you want to integrate your own office storage identifiers and information protocols into a new inventory management system designed by us, they design and build the infrastructures to support the transition. Their specialist IT skills focus on the security and integrity of inventories, and they design the interfaces you see and use when you access your storage programme online. Warehouse Managers
Warehouse SupervisorsOur warehouse facilities are far from being static environments. Daily activity is, at times, frenetic, to say the least. Warehouse supervisors are the people responsible for meeting the daily demands of clients, keeping facilities clean and clear, co-ordinating incoming and outgoing events and teams, working with visiting clients and ensuring that inventory protocols are meticulously adhered to. Without them, the system experiences its weakest link. With them, the system works. AdministratorsA vast amount of data processing and other information management accompanies storage programmes. Part customer service representative, part PA, part human computer, our administrators maintain the communication channels between clients and the warehouse team, making sure everyone is informed and knows what is expected of them. All back-office responsibility – from correspondence to scheduling activities to inventory processing – rests with them. Warehouse Operatives
|
Our storage consultants are the strategic
planners of any storage programme. They have in-depth knowledge
on how to store items
and the media available for doing so. They can provide exceptional
value in the way they
help you decide what’s most cost-effective to store and what’s
not. They are the logistical experts with organised minds who
bring outsourced solutions to your own warehouse facilities
and their knowledge of inventory
management practices creates controlled, fluid stored environments.
Responsibility for each warehouse facility – ours
or yours – rests
with an individual warehouse manager. They are the prime interface
between you, the client, and the operation they run on your
behalf. They have intimate
knowledge of their own facility – its capacity, range of storage
media, and current usage. Their role is to run a highly efficient,
well ordered facility and to liaise with other facilities when
providing a multi-site
storage programme to clients.
Collect, check, compile, pack, transport, deliver,
store, find, pick, sort, record, re-deliver. Just a few of
the routine, but brilliantly executed activities of our warehouse operatives.
The physical actions associated
with an active storage programme are their domain. Uniformed,
informed, scrupulous, helpful, and knowledgeable – and never far
from a clean, smart, liveried vehicle. When they arrive at your
workplace, you’re
in safe hands.
