Placing items into the most appropriate storage environment
is an essential element of modern storage. Here are some
of the storage mediums we use:
Free standing. Standard open floor space within a
dry, secure warehouse. Items are stored in marked out areas. Free-standing
items can be additionally wrapped and protected using
a range of modern materials.
Suitable for:
low-risk items
palletised storage
large items
free-standing furniture
Containerised. 250-cubic-foot wooden containers and
20- or 40-foot steel shipping containers, fully lockable.
Suitable for:
long-term storage
personal effects
private storage
Secure, caged areas. Secure areas give exclusive security to
clients’ goods over a large area of space. Can implement
client-only access. Suitable for:
high-risk, high value items
sensitive material
Racking. Steel racking used for holding a wide range
of goods which would not be suited to open floor space. Suitable for:
multi-level palletised storage
smaller, vulnerable items, e.g. display
materials
items to be stored sequentially by category or
component, e.g. furniture components or building materials
Specialist racking (RM). Dedicated storage racking
used specifically for records management (RM): a hardware-software
combination
designed to
allow efficient storage, identification and retrieval
of specialist storage boxes.
Vault rooms. 210m3 four-hour fire rated vaults fitted
with an environmentally friendly Inergen gas suppressant
