Harrow Green’s records centres are positioned around the UK to provide nationwide coverage and reduced transit times for its document storage services. Each records centre is equipped to the highest standards and incorporates the most modern security and fire prevention systems, as well as specialist facilities for storing electronic data and vulnerable material.
Our records centres are dedicated document storage environments, either co-existing with our general warehouse facilities or purpose built for the document storage activity. In both cases we use separate hardware systems (media racking), separate trained management, office and operative staff and our own vehicles and inventory management equipment.
Central Data
Management
Data is held centrally, which allows inventories
to be viewed and managed from any records centre irrespective
of where they are physically stored. This is particularly useful
for picking from multiple inventories
that are stored across more than one records centre, and
then accessing them as a single inventory. There is also
a practical reason for holding data centrally. It allows
us to keep it more secure and protect it better.
