Data Storage

You can store virtually any form of electronic data with us, secure in the knowledge that it will remain fully protected and retain its integrity for as long as it’s away from your site. Off-line archive storage provides you with a secure environment away from your own locations, which means critical data, like archives and routine back-ups can be recovered immediately in the event of a disaster recovery event. Media vaults (see Media Storage below) provide complete environmental protection and risk-free storage. And when you need access to stored data quickly, we can deliver it to you in its original format (e.g. CD, tape or hard drive) or arrange for secure electronic transfer direct to your business.

Media Storage

Businesses in sectors such as broadcasting generate precious material on film and other broadcast media. Hospitals store X-rays and other medical media. As the company behind the historic relocation of The British Library to its new St. Pancras home, we know a thing or two about moving and protecting valuable, vulnerable and unusual material. We have now extended this expertise into our RM service and can store X-rays, film and other media in safe, controlled conditions, including the accurate, sequential collection, transportation and storage of large volume inventories. Media vaults at each of our records centres provide optimum storage conditions, including temperature and humidity control, and inergen gas fire-suppressant systems. And like the rest of our service, you can access your library online and have items back on your desk in no time.

Scan On Demand (Document Scanning and Imaging)

Scan On Demand turns paper into data. It can be used to scan documents as they come in, and then store them electronically, or documents in store can be scanned and delivered to you electronically, leaving your original documents intact. Scan On Demand is also ideally suitable for documents that need to be picked from store and made available to more than one person. Once documents have been scanned, they can then be made available centrally (on a secure web page) or emailed to multiple recipients. An OCR process turns hard copy into fully editable, formatted text, versatile and compatible with the way you work.

Asset Storage and Management

Our service can be extended to the safekeeping and management of virtually any item – furniture, equipment, stationery, materials and other assets, including system furniture storage down to individual component level. Asset storage and management can free up a large amount of your own real estate and provides a clearer picture of your total inventory. The same inventory management system used for document storage is applied to assets, conferring all of the same reporting, tracking and online access benefits, with additional features including photographic inventories and depreciation management.

Secure Destruction

Harrow Green can provide secure, confidential destruction of documents and information, off-site or at your own place of business. Destruction comes with full certification provided by accredited service providers. Furthermore, we can implement automatic schedules whereby documents are picked for destruction as soon as their legal period for retention expires. For additional peace of mind, our mobile destruction units can be brought to your business where you can watch or even take part in the destruction process yourself.
