First Scotland Office Opens
30 JULY 2006
Harrow Green has finally crossed the border and opened its first operation in Scotland.
The new operation marks an important milestone in Harrow Green’s growth programme, with another strategically significant placement of a Harrow Green ‘hub’ from which the company can provide local services to a whole new raft of clients, and assist in delivering an even more ‘connected’ national network for major clients with countrywide operations.
The Scotland team is led by Stuart Anderson, who owned and managed a successful relocation business in Glasgow prior to setting up the new Harrow Green operation. Stuart’s team will focus on growing a strong presence in Scotland and raising awareness of the Harrow Green brand in the country. The Glasgow operation, which offers the full range of Harrow Green services to the region, will also be at the vanguard of Harrow Green’s expansion into other key Scottish cities in the near future.
Nigel Grice, Harrow Green’s commercial services director responsible for the North and Scotland, said: “It’s quite momentous for us to be crossing the border for the first time in our history, but I would like to make it clear that it’s not a case of ‘The English are coming’.
“The office is managed and operated by an experienced team of local people who have already spent many years taking care of the commercial relocation needs of Glasgow’s businesses, and organisations right across Scotland. Whenever we open in a new town or city, it is our policy to deliver appropriate services that match the business profile of the area, and make a contribution to the local economy by employing local people who understand the area and can work closely and knowledgeably with local business.”
