Commercial Manager - North East

As part of our energetic UK growth programme, we are establishing Harrow Green in the north-east, based in Newcastle, and we are looking for a Commercial Manager who can lead and develop our presence in the region.

You’ll be starting from scratch, including finding the right location to serve a new client base in the area, and you’ll be required to turn the new operation into yet another success story for Harrow Green by building the kind of high-quality client partnerships that have become the award-winning hallmark of the group.

Responsibilities will be wide-ranging, including finding and employing a skilled and talented workforce, securing new business, managing an efficient operation, and regularly turning in a very healthy bottom line. In return, you’ll be fully supported by a board director (to whom you will directly report) and receive specialist head-office assistance, from recruitment and finance to marketing and IT.

Your core business to begin with will be commercial moving and storage, so you will need a proven track record of successful senior management within that industry. Once established, you’ll be responsible for geographical expansion and for introducing Harrow Green’s entire service portfolio to the region.
