Business Development Managers

Our business development managers provide key account management throughout the term of the client partnership. Specifically, they identify client needs, plan and build relocation programmes, define move policies and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), devise quotations and manage costs, and work closely with our relocation agents (see below) in creating added value programmes. Their knowledge of global relocation is encyclopaedic, as is their understanding of the business issues that surround a staff move programme.

International Move Consultants

The role of the international move consultant is to identify the personal requirements of those moving and help build individual move plans for each person (and their family). They do not remain in contact with the individual throughout the move process – that’s the job of the move manager (see below) – but establish a complete profile of every single person involved in the relocation process. They then use this information to create a company-wide move plan, built around the needs of the individual and aligned to your company’s move policy and business requirements.

Relocation Consultants

Our relocation consultants can turn an overseas removal into a lifestyle programme, helping your staff to find the best locations to suit their working lives, taking the legwork out of finding just the right home, and helping to get the kids into top-notch education. They can provide destination information, tax and finance advice, language courses and cross-cultural training (orientation) – everything, in fact, to help take the mystery out of life in a new environment. When you’re looking for more than just a moving service, they provide the skills and information to help you build a complete relocation package for your people.

Move Managers

Move manager, as the name suggests, manage the overseas removal itself. While the other members of the senior team work closely with the client, move managers work closely with the individuals moving. They guide the customer expertly through the move process, step by step, assisting with documentation and packing procedures, explaining the move programme, and dealing patiently and helpfully with every single question that comes their way (and there are many), providing personal, one-to-one customer care throughout the move. Mentor, guide and seasoned travelling companion. Every home should have one.

Operations Managers

Behind every move is a skilled, well-equipped, motivated team of operatives. Behind them is an operations manager. Harrow Green’s operations managers are central to the hundreds of successful moves we undertake every year. They are responsible for resourcing every move correctly, employing the best staff in the business, creating and maintaining the training and standards programme, sourcing the best packing materials (and arranging custom-built packing), having a well-equipped fleet, and liaising with their counterparts overseas. That’s a lot of responsibility, which can be summed up in one phrase: operational service delivery.

Operatives

When it all comes down to a memorable and successful move, the people who are often most fondly remembered are the operative crews who tirelessly pack and move your home and keep your kettle constantly on the boil. We only employ dedicated ‘home moving’ crews when moving individuals and families. Not only are they specifically trained in export packing, and not only do they uniquely understand and respect the home environment, but they’re just very good at being exceptionally helpful. They just can’t help it and they won’t stop until the job’s done and the customer is happy.
